WSOP Circuit Middelkerke

From 6 to 16 November 2025, the World Series of Poker Circuit came to Middelkerke: the first WSOPC on Belgian soil since Brussels in 2017. Pokahnights brought the festival to the casino on the seafront, with GGPoker as partner.

The WSOP has a fixed global identity. Our brief: within those rules, give this one edition, in this one place, a face of its own. Unmistakably WSOP, unmistakably Middelkerke.

We built a local branding on top of the WSOP brand rules: deep red and black, gold accents, the poker chip as a recurring image and the coastline with the casino on the seafront. Every piece of communication feels like the WSOP, and like a weekend on the Belgian coast.

That visual language carried the whole festival: an animation for the website, the screens in the casino and on the stream, social media, banners and the GGPoker client, a five-metre-wide backdrop, roll-ups, a schedule flyer and a welcome box for the players.

The showpiece was the printed brochure: 36 A6 pages with the full schedule of the 12 ring events, the €1,500 Main Event, the cash games, registration through the WSOP+ app, online qualifying on GGPoker.be and everything you need to know about Middelkerke. A guide for every player and a calling card for the festival, for which the organisers thanked us warmly.

In total, 4,101 entries were registered during the festival, for a prize pool of €1,891,620 across 27 events, 12 of them ring events. Every ring winner also won a $5,000 Bahamas package: twelve Middelkerke champions headed to WSOP Paradise.

The Main Event was the heart of the festival: 414 entries, a prize pool of €569,250 and three Belgians at the final table. Omar Lakhdari took the biggest prize of the festival there: €118,000.
